When first told about acidity in blood during first or second hospitalization, we told doctor she’d been drinking canned mango juice for couple of months almost daily, to which he answered “Well don’t give it to her”. But as time’s gone by and in between hospital stays_with no diet ever written up for her_we’ve mostly guessed as to what foods not to give.

We know better concerning salt intake by experience now, but I know benefits of juice and wish to start giving again, such as apple. Gave her little pear juice couple of weeks ago. But we’re always fearful…
